PlaceVR Technology Creates an Experience to Attract Investors and Sell the Site

(Paintsville, Kentucky – May 12, 2021) One East Kentucky is proving that Virtual Reality isn’t just for games as they launch a new 360-degree video to market a 15-acre parcel of available land. The video includes a 3D rendering of a building to give investors a vision for how the space can be used and move them towards a decision.

“There are a couple of trains that go by in the video and when you’re watching with VR goggles you really feel like you’re standing between them,” said Chuck Sexton, President and CEO of One East Kentucky. “As the parking lot spreads out under your feet and the 3D building takes shape, you can really get a sense for what it would be like to have your business there.”

Virtual Reality delivers an immersive experience that stimulates intense brain activity. The result is that the message is remembered, and viewers are open to a next step like scheduling a meeting.

“Chuck and his colleagues know that there’s no such thing as business as usual,” said Aaron Brossoit, CEO of Golden Shovel Agency. “By using PlaceVR technology they’re going to be able to stand out, so that they can attract attention and take conversations with site selectors to the next level.”

One East Kentucky is collaborating with Golden Shovel Agency to create a series of six videos and 3D building renderings that will market available land in industrial park sites and existing buildings that are for sale.
