Virtual Tours Part of a Library of VR Assets Produced in Collaboration with Golden Shovel Agency

PAINTSVILLE, KY -- If you’re looking for an existing building for relocating your business, you can get a 3D tour of three facilities in Eastern Kentucky thanks to Virtual Reality (VR) tours launched by One East Kentucky.

The tours, created by Golden Shovel Agency with Matterport technology, allows potential buyers to propel themselves through the buildings to look around and get answers to their preliminary questions.

“I was familiar with this technology and asked Golden Shovel if this was something they could do for us,” said Chuck Sexton, President and CEO of One East Kentucky. “We were already working with them on some other VR projects, so it just made sense that they add this to their toolbox.”

3D building renderings and Virtual Reality allow One East Kentucky to stir up more interest for the properties featured in the renderings. Because they can offer a tour without the need to travel, they’re increasing visibility by reaching out to a bigger pool of prospects.

“One East Kentucky is truly a pioneer when it comes to using innovative technology to meet their economic development goals,” said Aaron Brossoit, CEO of Golden Shovel Agency. “These three renderings are part of a whole library of VR assets that they now have to push forward, with or without a pandemic.”

One East Kentucky is collaborating with Golden Shovel Agency to create a series of six videos and 3D building renderings that will market available land in industrial park sites and existing buildings that are for sale.
