New aviation program to bring training and jobs to Eastern Kentucky

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WYMT) - Eastern Kentucky University's new program hopes to bring training and jobs to displaced Eastern Kentucky coal workers.
The Kentucky Appalachia Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Training Project will help coal workers, as well as veterans and other people who need jobs. The project will allow them to earn certification as aviation maintenance technicians.
