Freddie Williams

Vice President, Thacker Grigsby Communications

Freddie has served in several roles during his 28-year tenure with Thacker Grigsby Communications. His latest projects include managing the fiber to the home communications expansion in several underserved counties of Eastern Kentucky while also growing the company's workforce of 139 employees to meet their ever-changing needs. As Vice President of Thacker Grigsby Communications, Freddie has helped grow the small rural telephone company into one of the largest internet and cellular providers in Eastern Kentucky; serving customers in Knott, Floyd, Perry, Breathitt, Letcher, Leslie, Harlan, and Bell Counties.  Freddie serves on several regional boards including the East Kentucky Network Board, Knott County Water and Sewer District Board, and the East Kentucky Health Service Center Board. Freddie is a native of Knott County where he attended Knott County Central High School and Morehead State University.  Freddie resides in Hindman where he is raising his family of four children.
