Water

Pikeville Water provides the water utility in this park.  A new 1,000,000 gallon water tank has recently been completed to handle increasing industrial demands.  The new tank feeds an existing 300,000 gallon water tank.  The combination of these two water sources provides abundant capacity while also serving as a backup to the 4,500,000 GPD treatment plant.

Sanitary Sewer

Pikeville Sewer provides service to this park with existing infrastructure and a 2,000,000 Gallon Per Day treatment plant.  The city wishes to increase capacity for industrial needs and has secured funding to construct a state-of-the-art $22 Million USD sewer plant to be completed in 2017.  The new plant will allow the city to double current sewer capacity to 4,000,000 GPD with room to triple capacity quickly by simply adding additional membranes within the same footprint to accommodate future growth.

Electric

AEP Kentucky Power provides electrical service to Marions Branch Industrial Park.  A 765kV Transmission Line runs south of the park with a secondary 47kV Transmission Line.  This Park has the capacity to serve massive electrical infrastructure needs.

Natural Gas

Natural Gas Transmission Lines are currently accessible throughout the park with the possibility of utilizing existing natural gas wells.

Telecom

East Kentucky is the beginning of the Kentucky Information Highway.  A broadband initiative titled “Kentucky Wired” is adding to already existing fiber within the region, extending gigabyte service to government, business and homes faster than ever before.  This Park has existing service through local telecom companies, AT&T and broadband providers such as Windstream with plans in place for Gigabyte service by mid-2017.

Transportation

Marions Branch Industrial Park is located adjacent to US HWY 23, a four-lane industrial parkway connecting Interstate 64 and Interstate 26.  The park is also a short drive from US HWY 119, connecting to Interstate 77.  Centrally located, Marions Branch is equidistant to all three of these Interstates.

The park is 20 minutes south of Pikeville Airport, providing private jet and freight service. Commercial air options include: Lexington, Kentucky’s Bluegrass Airport, Charleston, West Virginia’s Yeager Airport, and Tri-Cities Airport in Kingsport, TN.  All of which are within 2 hours or less from the park.
